Ethan Shapiro, Program Manager

Ethan Shapiro is Program Manager at the Lexington Institute. He organizes and coordinates working groups and other events for stakeholders and policy experts with diverse viewpoints from throughout the Washington, D.C. region.  

In addition, Shapiro conducts policy research, edits documents, and authors articles and issue briefs. Shapiro’s work has been published by The National Interest and other outlets. He also manages office operations, including the operation of the website and social media platforms.

Shapiro previously worked at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in 2021. He also served as an intern in Representative Tim Ryan’s Washington, D.C. office in 2022, and as an Associate at Bullpen Strategy Group in the summer of 2022.

Shapiro received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Kenyon College in May 2023, where he competed on the men’s golf team for four years. He resides in Arlington, Virginia.
