Army Moving To Delay Chinook Upgrades At Boeing Plant (Daily Times)
In an article for Daily Times about the ramifications of delaying Chinook upgrades at a Boeing plant in Pennsylvania, Alex Rose references Lexington Institute’s Loren Thompson and his March 21 column for Forbes. “We’re not just looking at jobs potentially lost at the Boeing plant, we’re looking at the whole supply chain,” Thompson said. “There are about 2,000 workers at the plant who are engaged on the Chinook program,” he noted, also adding that “[t]he Army made this decision without thinking about the jobs…”
