Boeing Said To Seek $20B In Aid From Stimulus Package (From Bloomberg News)
Lexington Chief Operating Officer Loren Thompson was quoted by Bloomberg News in its piece about Boeing’s petition to the U.S. government for a sizable stimulus ($20 billion) as the company begins to handle fallout from the coronavirus crisis.
“This is the last surviving American builder of jetliners,” said Thompson, speaking of the unique role Boeing continues to play in the U.S. aerospace and defense industry. “The Trump administration will do whatever it needs to protect the company from financial difficulties.”
