Lexington Institute’s Loren Thompson discusses Boeing’s 737 and its business models with NPR’s “All Things Considered.” As Thompson explained, “Boeing’s strategy for the last 20 years is to have one foot firmly planted in the commercial world and the other in the defense business… What that means is at any given time, they are often transferring money back and forth between the two sides of the company in order to bid competitively for opportunities.”
