Is Wright-Patterson’s NASIC Helping To ID Airborne ‘Objects?’ (From The Dayton Daily News)
Lexington’s Loren Thompson was quoted in an article by the Dayton Daily News about a specialized intelligence center that may be playing a key role in conducting research about UFOs. Operating within the confines of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Greene County, Ohio, the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) has recently been charged with the task of analyzing unidentified aerial phenomena. NASIC has played a pivotal role in investigating the origins of these unknown flying objects.
“Analyzing the nature and origin of unidentified aerial phenomena is a core feature of what NASIC does,” said Thompson. “It’s a safe bet the intelligence agency is working closely with NORAD (the North American Aerospace Defense Command) to figure out the recent sightings, and assess what they mean for the future.”
