In Aaron Gregg’s article on hypersonic strike weapons for The Washington Post, Loren Thompson said that, in the long-run, the market for such weapons should be worth “many billions of dollars.” He told Gregg that “an entirely new class of weapons and the operating concepts to go with it” would lead to opportunities for defense contractors.
