New CEO Could Change the Way Lockheed Martin Does Business (From Defense One)

Lexington Chief Operating Officer Loren Thompson’s tribute to the career of Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson was recently quoted by Defense One in their evaluation of the changes to the business that could be made by her replacement.

Defense One quoted from Thompson’s March 16 piece in Forbes. “She gradually weeded out executives who could not get along with their customers, or were too ego-driven to treat their subordinates as team-mates,” said Thompson. “She insisted that managers become better listeners, and more responsive to customer concerns.”
