Post Office Board Diversity Faces Same Scrutiny As Corporate America (From Bloomberg News)
Lexington’s Paul Steidler was quoted in an August 24th article about the U.S. Postal Service’s Board of Governors. The board, which is all male, mostly white, and majority Republican, has come under new scrutiny as new Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is under fire.
The board now has a quorum with six members, after not having a quorum for nearly five years. “Over the last 10 years, to the extent that there’s been a board at all, most of the time it has not had a quorum and has been highly dysfunctional,” said Steidler.
