Postal Services Launches Review Of Package Delivery Fees As Trump Influence Grows (From The Washington Post)
Lexington Senior Fellow Paul Steidler was quoted in a May 14 Washington Post article about steps the U.S. Postal Service is taking to determine whether it should charge more for packages.
“Packages are bigger, they’re bulky, they’re heavy. They’re not as efficient to deliver as envelopes,” said Steidler. “The packages bring in revenue, but they don’t necessarily bring in profitability.”
