Regional UAS Conference To Focus On Springfield Research (From Dayton Daily News)

Lexington Institute’s Loren Thompson is referenced in an article from the Dayton Daily News about a regional event in Springfield, Ohio that will focus on Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone testing. In April, Thompson mentioned the Dayton-Springfield region as having FAA authorization for BVLOS research. “This is the latest step in Dayton’s continued emergence as an aerospace innovation center,” he said. “Unmanned aircraft are the wave of the future in aerospace, and now the Dayton area will have a major flight testing facility.”
