The Pentagon Is Finally Getting a New Defense Secretary (Foreign Policy)
Lexington Institute’s Loren Thompson comments on the nomination of Patrick Shanahan in an article for Foreign Policy. “It is hard to form a cohesive team when you aren’t certain who the leader is going to be. Once Shanahan is confirmed in the top job, subordinate positions can be filled with people who complement the skills of the leader,” he noted.
