Lexington Institute’s Paul Steidler is quoted in an article by Keith Johnson for Foreign Policy about the Trump Administration’s success at the Universal Postal Union. The UPU has agreed to a compromise that levels the playing field by restructuring the postage regime that had previously benefited countries like China with favorable international shipping rates. “It’s an example of having a strategy, having an end game, building coalitions, and at the end of the day, entering into something which is very reasonable and effective for the United States,” said Steidler.
