UPU Endorses Compromise To Let United States Set Prices For Incoming Foreign Mail (From Linn’s Stamp News)
Lexington Institute’s Paul Steidler is quoted in Bill McAllister’s article about the restructuring of the Universal Postal Union’s terminal dues system. The UPU has agreed to endorse a compromise plan that will allow the U.S. to set the prices for incoming foreign mail, following efforts by the Trump Administration to address international postal disparities. “The administration has accomplished more with the UPU in the past year than the U.S. has over the past 20 years,” said Steidler.
