J.D. Vance Should Join His Constituents and Embrace Google (From RealClearMarkets)
Google provides significant economic and social benefits to Ohio, including Senator J.D. Vance’s hometown of Middletown. The company accounts for $14 billion in annual economic activity, makes billions of dollars in annual infrastructure investments, facilitates digital skills training for small businesses, and supports many community organizations.
And despite his America Economic First policy, Senator Vance is aligned with European Union bureaucrats seeking to extract billions of dollars from Google and other U.S. tech leaders to fund European special interests.
For these reasons and more, Senator Vance should change his position on Google. I examine these issues in an Op-Ed for RealClearMarkets here.
