Ukraine’s surprise flank attack into Russia is going on with than tacit approval from the White House and NATO allies. Plus, Ukraine’s F-16s have opened a new chapter. Listen to a clip from my discussion with Joe Mathieu of Bloomberg Radio’s Balance of Power. Ukraine is using vehicles like the U.S.-made Stryker to move quickly. It shows Ukraine’s forces have been very well trained by several NATO partners.  Ukraine’s F-16s are now assisting in the defense of Ukraine. The F-16 pilots were experienced, combat aviators to start with and now they know how to employ the F-16 as a weapons system. Ukraine’s air force has been reported using air weapons, as Ukraine carries out combined arms work between airpower and ground formations in the Kursk pocket.
