Testimony to U.S. House of Representatives on the U.S. Postal Service (Paul Steidler)

Lexington’s Paul Steidler was part of a panel that testified to the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Government Operations of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. The title of the hearing was “The Route Forward for the U.S. Postal Service: A View From Stakeholders.”

In his opening remarks and subsequent questions, Mr. Steidler offered several solutions to help the Postal Service, including investing its pension assets similar to how those of state government workers are, ending the Delivering for America strategic plan, and restructuring its Board of Governors.
